Our much loved mother and friend, Joy peacefully passed away surrounded by whānau on Monday 12 October, aged 74. Best friend and wife of John, Mother of Svend and Celeste, Catherine and Dylan, Phillip and Rebecca, Ellen and Pete, Paul and Joella, Erik and Rachael, and the much missed Louise. Grandma and Kuia to Noah, Peace, Olive, Beth, Kahu, Ani, Hana, Kitty, Elva and Sophie. Born to Peace and Ike in Foxton, Joy was the sister of John, Basil, Russell and Colleen.

Ngā mihi nunui to the staff of Wellington Hospital (including whānau) and the Mary Potter Hospice for their extraordinary help over the past six weeks since her cancer was discovered.

Weave on Mum. Your loving and welcoming presence will be sorely missed. You were simply wonderful.

Vigil Service

Funeral Service

Location: St Mary’s Church, Pukekaraka, Ōtaki 
Time: Friday 16 October at 1:00pm.
